Elizabeth Pengree Memorial

The Friends are looking to help Blockley church in the restoration of the Elizabeth Pengree memorial. The memorial is a most unusual structure and is reckoned to be the best of outdoor church monuments. It is listed on the English Heritage at Risk Register a listing that was supported by Cotswold District Council. The stonework is in need of some repair and attention but the railings surrounding the tomb are in a very sorry state. Estimates for total repairs are approximately £20000.
