Grants
Funds raised from our supporters and donors are distributed as grants to groups and organisations doing projects which look after the Cotswolds. Our first ever programme – the Small Grants Fund – is now open for applications. Groups and organisations can apply for grants of up to £500 to assist in delivering eligible projects.
How to apply
We welcome good ideas for projects within the Cotswolds AONB and surrounding areas. A map of the area can be viewed on the Cotswolds Conservation Board’s website at:
www.cotswoldsaonb.org.uk
What happens next?
-
The first step is to discuss your project or idea with the Friends Development Officer
-
If your project is eligible for consideration you will be invited to complete an application form.
The Guidance notes and form can be downloaded by clicking on the PDF documents at the bottom of the page.
-
All supporting documents should be submitted with your application e.g. 2 or 3 estimates for each item of work
-
please bear in mind that applicants are competing for limited funds and so we are unable to support as many projects as we would like
-
all applications are assessed by the Directors. If your project is approved we will offer you a grant.
-
The grant is paid on successful completion of the work on receipt of invoices.
If we are unable to assist you with a grant, perhaps because your project is too large; we may be able to help you in other ways. We could lend you our support, suggest other sources of funding or help you raise money. We are always happy to discuss projects which benefit this very special area; and consider how we can help.
